Product Description: Hair Tea Rinses are Conditioning Treatments that strengthen the hair and encourages healthy growth of hair as well as give nourishment to scalp hair follicles. This protein based tea aids in hair growth, follicle stimulation & scalp rejuvenation by increasing collagen production and circulation in hair follicles and thwarts inflammation.
Usage: Apply to clean microfiber or t-shirt dried hair and use one of the following methods to apply. Because the protein based tea can be drying, please follow up with our “Do the Dew” deep conditioning masque or leave-in conditioner.
Method#1: Fill half of steeper with herbal blend. Insert closed steeper to a large pyrex glass bowl or jar and fill with (16-32oz) boiling water and cover. Steep for 30 minutes- 2 hours (the longer it steeps the more potent). When the tea is cool to warm or room temperature, apply to scalp and hair and massage thoroughly. When pouring warm tea on to hair and scalp, hold a bowl at the end of hair strands to catch the tea and re-apply. Repeat several times. Leave in and style as desired. *Can be applied before and/or after deep conditioning.
Method#2: Steep for 30 minutes- 2 hours (the longer it steeps the more potent), then let cool. Add mixture to spray bottle. Spray the tea mixture onto your hair & scalp and massage. Leave-in and style as desired.
** If you have a protein sensitivity, it is recommended to rinse out tea before styling. For excessive shedding, start with a weekly application and then transition to twice a month or as needed for maintenance.
Storage: After steeping, hair tea can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. To ensure unused herbs stay fresh, please be sure to reseal pouch and store in a cool dry area.
